    I had the portebello mushroom and blue cheese burger, and my partner had the beetroot wrap with bacon, brie and cranberry.
    She described it as awesome.
    Really worth a visit if you're in the area, it could quickly become a regular stop for anyone passing through.
    Service was really friendly and welcoming.
    Also, I had an affogato to drink, super delicious as well, would recommend if your a lover of sweet desert coffees.

  •   Wandered around Kendal and found this place quite unexpectedly. It was just off the main shopping street and was a lucky find. Hubby had a beetroot wrap of brie and... read more cranberry. Quite unusual taste but really enjoyable. My avocado salad was very fresh and delicious.

    It is obviously a good cafe as they do get lots of locals comings in. The guys have done a good job with social distancing and covid protection. Well done.

    Excellent range of home-made food, good choice of beverages and friendly staff. Well set up with Covid security so no concerns. I enjoyed the falafels - and the garlic bread these were served with was amazing!

    There is something for everyone on the menu, meat eaters and vegetarians both well catered for. I had whitebait and bang bang chicken today which were both excellent.

We’re those customers and had requested removals of some things from all our dishes, which was accommodated with no issues - appreciated this greatly. The wait was a little long on coffees but they were very busy and everyone was working very hard so we didn’t mind waiting.

    Food was wonderful. As a veggie, breakfast can be a hit or miss but I really enjoyed mine. Poached eggs were perfect! We thought it was a little strange that the breakfast doesn’t come with toast, but still a lovely meal. We recommend ordering some sourdough on the side.

    Overall, wonderful breakfast and we can’t wait to visit again. All the staff were working very hard and you’re all doing a great job. Keep at it!
